Statement of Significance

"Ohiho" at no. 43 Hunt Crescent, Ascot Vale West, was built in 1928 for the builder, Stephen Pane. It is aesthetically important as an unusually substantial and prominent inter war villa in the area taking advantage of its elevated situation and recalling the
earnest phase in the development of the immediate environs (Criterion A).
