Statement of Significance

The house known as "Goodwood" and possibly the stables at 42 Myross Avenue, Ascot Vale, were built prior to 1895. They are important for their capacity to demonstrate the area's links with the racing industry and the Flemington and Moonee Valley racecourses (Criterion A).
