The English oak within the grounds of Eastern Golf Club, Doncaster Road, Doncaster is considered to be of regional significance for its connection with the "Tullamore" property and the Eastern Golf Club which has its antecedents in the Surrey Hills Golf club, one of the first in Victoria. The tree is also significant for its aesthetic value.
