The Wonga Park Community Cottage is of local significance for its historical associations with a local orchardist and his family, representing typical characteristics of domestic buildings and a family's way of life of this period in Wonga Park. In recent years, the Cottage has also become a social landmark and community focus. (Criterion D2, G1)
