The house at 724 Doncaster Road, Doncaster is of historic significance as a now rare example of a house in Doncaster Road that illustrates the early suburban development of this area in the first decades of the twentieth century. It is also significant for the strong association with William Thomas, Shire Secretary, for whom it was built.
