What is Significant? The mature River Red Gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) situated near the corner of Bridge Street and Manningham Road, Bulleen. How is it Significant? The River Red Gum is of local historic, scientific (botanical) significance to Manningham City. Why is it Significant? Of scientific (botanical) and historical significance for its very early age and as a rare specimen predating European settlement that provides evidence of the landscape at the time of first settlement by non-Indigenous people.
