The Wild Kaffir Plum, established c.1920-30, at 49 Victoria Street, Williamstown. The Wild Kaffir Plum at 49 Victoria Street, Williamstown is of local aesthetic and scientific (horticultural) significance to the City of Hobsons Bay. Aesthetically, it contributes to the related landscape setting of the Interwar house and precinct. (AHC criterion E1) Scientifically, it is horticulturally significant as a rare example of this species in a regional (and possibly statewide) context. (AHC criterion B2)
