The house, constructed c.1860, at 6 Rennie Street, Williamstown. The house at 6 Rennie Street, Williamstown is of local historic and aesthetic significance to the City of Hobsons Bay. Historically, it is one of the oldest houses within this area, which demonstrates the earliest phase of development in the Private Survey precinct. (AHC criteria A4 and D2) Aesthetically, it is a recognizably early Victorian cottage with distinctive form and original detail. (AHC criteria E1)
