What is significant?
Well preserved landscape of gold rush digger holes/mounds and survival of two puddling machine sites 
How is it significant?
The site is significant due to: 
Intactness: retains evidence of gold rush diggings and use of puddling machines 
Intactness: a compact arrangement that demonstrates the scale and nature of gold rush mining 
Condition: retains fabric in a condition that can be understood and interpreted.
Why is it significant?
The site is a relic of Victoria’s mid/late 19th century gold rush
