What is significant?
While the entire site is archaeologically significant, the two standing chimneys (feature 3) are of particular significance as they can be seen from the Princes Highway leading to Warrnambool. It is possible that all 3 features may contain historic artefacts.
How is it significant?
The site has local historic significance and high archaeological potential.
Why is it significant?
The site is significant as any archaeological remains can inform on early settlement and rural life in towns on the outskirts of Warrnambool.
