This place is of local historical significance as a representation of early nineteenth century pastoral occupation.  
 
The Hexham Park homestead is of archaeological significance for its potential to provide information about 1870s regional architecture and archaeological deposits and preferences of wealthy landowners. It has potential to reveal information about the layout and resources of mid-nineteenth century pastoral stations.
