The former scout hall at 19 Edward Street, Coburg is significant. The form of the original scout hall is significant, as well as key features including the weatherboards, timber windows, timber gable ends and front entrance.

How is it significant?
The former scout hall is of local historical, aesthetic and associative significance to the City of Moreland.
Why is it significant?
The former Scout Hall, built in 1926, is historically significant for its associations with the Boy Scout movement and is one of the oldest purpose-built scout halls in the City of Moreland. The former scout hall is also historically significant as a site constructed with volunteer labour and funded through local donations. (Criterion A) The former scout hall exhibits aesthetic characteristics as an intact1920s weatherboard scout hall. (Criterion E)
