30 Hunter Road is historically significant as it demonstrates the
popularity of the Old English style during the interwar phase of
residential development in Camberwell. (Criterion A) 30 Hunter Road is architecturally significant as a fine and intact
representative example of Old English style domestic architecture. The
dwelling embodies the principal characteristics of the style through
its large asymmetrical massing and set of well executed detailing. It

stylistic quality of the dwelling, while displaying the function of an
internal space. (Criterion E)
