STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

306 Moorabool Street has architectural and historic significance at a local level. It is representative and substantially intact example of a brick Bungalow, a common housing type in Geelong early this century. The residence retains characteristic form, siting and a large gable roof hipped above the attic storey, as well as some Federation Bungalow details. It has historical association with John O'Brien who occupied the address for over twenty years.
