History/Notes
A house was built at 15 Upper Skene Street in 1901-02 for Mrs Emma Jarman, wife of Herbert Jarman. butcher and grazier. She leased the property to George Maher, a printer in 1902-03. Emma Jarman sold the house to Joseph F. Houston, a fitter, in 1922-23. In 1949, the property was sold to Edward F. Day. The original house appears to have been demolished in 1968 and replaced with the existing brick dwelling at that time, possibly for Mr A. Zynevich.
