This Maidenhair Tree (Ginkgo biloba) is an important landmark tree in an historic precinct. The tree's height makes a unique and aesthetic contribution to the surrounding landscape. There are four examples of Maidenhair Tree on the National Trust Register and this tree is second only to the specimen at Geelong Botanic Gardens.
