57 McKillop Street has architectural and historic significance at a local level. It is a representative example of a brick Bungalow. The building is substantially intact and retains characteristic form, siting and a large gable roof with attic storey, as well as some picturesque features. The building is of historic significance having been purpose built and continuing to serve as a vicarage for Christ Church since 1924. this ecclesiastical function is reflected in the design.
