The former residence at 274 High Street, Windsor was constructed c1884 and substantially remodelled in 1918 in an electic Arts and Crafts style.

Elements that contribute to the significance of the place include (but are not limited to):
-The external form, materials and detailing resulting from the 1918 works.
-The house's generally high level of integrity to its 1918 state, notwithstanding rear additions.
-The form, materials and detailing of the front fence
-The domestic setting provided by the front garden (but not the fabric of the garden itself)
-The legibility of the original form from the public realm created by the undeveloped front and side setbacks.

Modern alterations and additions are not considered to be significant.

The exterior is notable for its extensive timber shingle clad bays and overall high degree of intactness.
