45 Maud Street has architectural and historic significance at a local level. It is a representative example of Early Victorian brick housing which was once common in inner Geelong. The house has a high degree of integrity, retaining its characteristicf orm and siting, as well as a number oft ypical Victorian features. It has historical associations with Robert Low, the owner of a series of residences in Maud Street. Further historical research is required.
