A very attractive specimen with foliage reaching to ground level. A feature of this tree is its weeping foliage, whitish bloom to the young shoots and leaflets, and its very attractive bark. The light grey bark flakes off to reveal light green patches. The species is a native of Brazil and normally reaches about 3 metres. This tree is the only known example of the species in cultivation in Victoria.
