STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

14 Humble Street has architectural significance at a local level. The building is a representative and substantially intact example of a timber residence with notable Federation and Art Nouveau details. The building retains its characteristic siting, form and dtails including prominent gables at the front and side, decorative gable infill panels, a casement bay window with lead light galzing, a timber Federation style return verandah, and terraced garden. The building forms part of the residential streetscape.
