Statement of Significance

"Dominey's Hall" at 801 Mt Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds, was built in 1888 for the Essendon rate collector George Dominey. It is historically and aesthetically important. It is historically important (Criterion A) as an unusual building type, which was used combining residence and hall for a period.
