One of only two 1850's buildings by the architects Walter Ferrier, remaining in Geelong. It is a substantial reminder of, the importance of the route to the goldfields fro Geelong, and the local hub of activity during the brickfields era. It is of regional significance. POLICY/RECOMMENDATIONS
