STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

A characteristic timber late Victorian house with some unusual elements built in 1892. It is architecturally significant as an unusual variant on this domestic style and historically in embodying comfortable family life of a skilled craftsman in Newtown immediately prior to the economic crash of 1892.

INTACTNESS: Good. Fench doors replace the left window, and there are carport and other additions at left and rear. The high fences and the colour schemes are not appropriate.
