STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

A characteristic timber Edwardian house in excellent condition, built in perhaps 1905, replacing an earlier house built before 1860 It is architecturally significant as representative ofthe Edwardian domestic style and historically for its sequence of development and in embodying life in Newtown early this century.

INTACTNESS - Good. A large window has been installed under the verandah and there may be other alterations to the gable and balustrade, all sympathetic. The fence is recent and there is a skillion addition and a carport at the rear.
