STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

A timber early Edwardian house with some unusual decorative elements, built in 1911. It has architectural significance as an early and eclectic example of this domestic style and historically in embodying life in Newtown early this centaury.

INTACTNESS: Very good. The verandah floor has been replaced with painted brick and concrete slab. Post colours are not quiet appropriate. The fence is confusingly historicist, yet the major rear addition is sympathetic.
