STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

A characteristic timber Italianate house built in 1884 by William Purnell. It is significant locally, architecturally and representative of this domestic style and historically as embodying family life in late nineteenth century Newtown.

INTACTNESS: Very good. One pendant's finial is missing. The fence and gate are not appropriate.

CONDITIONS AND THREATS: Good.
