Geelong Advertiser, 3 September 1870, p.3:

"TENDERS Wanted, by Monday next, the 5th instant, at 4 p.m., for the erection of proposed Cottage, Newtown Hill, for Hugh Cameron, Esg. Drawings &c, at our office. DAVIDSON & HENDERSON, Architects."

STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

The two-storey, two bay wing of the house adjacent (no 31). It is rectangular pavilion in tuck-pointed bichromatci brick: dark brown with cream dressings around windows, lintels are dressed sandstone. Eaves at sides, are supported on concave bracket pairs, with a frieze mould. The roof is slate with fine wrought-iron curlicew finials on lead pinnacles.
