The State Savings Bank was built in 1922 to the design of eminent Geelong architects Buchan Laird and Buchan. It is of local significance.

Restoration of the front facade, particularly the rendered title at stringcourse level (now hidden by a wide strip with white writing). Would greatly enhance the character of this building.
