A characteristic and most intact Edwardian timber house built in 1909-10. It is architecturally significant as characteristic of the Edwardian domestic style, with some interesting details such as the Art Nouveau influenced organic valence fretwork. It is historically significant as a representative embodiment of the comfortable and assured family life in Edwardian Newtown.
