STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

A late Victorian timber house built in 1901 - It is architecturally significant locally as a characteristic survival of the architectural manner of the Late Victorian period, although actually built in the early twentieth century and only a few years before the distinctively Edwardian style house at no 10 (ref: 65). It is historically significant as a representative embodiment of family life at the turn of the century.

INTACTNESS: Very Good, The fence is appropriate, but appears recent.

CONDITIONS AND THREATS: Very good. Sub-floor ventilation.
