SIGNIFICANCE

A timber Edwardian house built in 1904. It is architecturally significant locally as an early example ofthe Edwardian domestic style, although built only a few years later than the distinctively Late Victorian house next door at no. 8 (ref 64). Its very early Art Nouveau influenced elements (fretwork, oculus, etc) are of particular interest. It ishistorically significant as a representative embodiment offamily life in the early years ofthe twentieth century.
