STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

Former Charlemont is a Late Victorian timber house built in the mid1890s. It is architecturally significant locally as an unusual variant of this domestic style. Of particular interest is the gable, bay and verandah forms. It is historically significant as the representative embodiment of family lifestyle of the period.

INTACTNESS Very good. Brick chimneys have been painted.
