STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

A timber Edwardian house built in 1909. It is architecturally significant locally as characteristics of the Edwardian domestic style with interesting Art Nouveau influenced organic decorative details. It is historically significant in evoking the comfortable family life of Edwardian Newtown

INTACTNESS: Very good. The front verandah has been infilled and this should preferably be removed. The mock historicist metal palisades fence is not appropriate.

CONDITIONS AND THREATS: Good.
