STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

A characteristic Edwardian house, built in 1907.

It is architecturally significant locally as representative of the Edwardian domestic style, for its strongly modeled chimneys and as one of a group of 12 relatively and most varied in Aberdeen Street.

It is significant historically as a representative embodiment of the way of life in Edwardian Newtown.

Intactness: Very good. The comer gable appears to be an infilled verandah bay refer ref 12. The picket fence is recent. The colour scheme is not quite correct.
