STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

An interesting Edwardian house built in 1911. It is architecturally significant locally as an interesting design in the. Edwardian style with strong formal characteristics partly reminiscent of a Palladian church and as 1 of a group of 12 relatively intact and most varied in Aberdeen Street.

It is significant historically as a representative embodiment of the way of life in Edwardian Newtown.

Intactness: Good. The verandahs appear to have been elaborated recently by adding balusters, rail valence fretwork and brackets. This needs closer inspection. The chimney has been pained.

Conditions & Threats: Very Good.
