C Listed- Local Significance STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE An interesting Edwardian house built in 1911. It is architecturally significant locally as an interesting design in the. Edwardian style with strong formal characteristics partly reminiscent of a Palladian church and as 1 of a group of 12 relatively intact and most varied in Aberdeen Street. It is significant historically as a representative embodiment of the way of life in Edwardian Newtown. Intactness: Good. The verandahs appear to have been elaborated recently by adding balusters, rail valence fretwork and brackets. This needs closer inspection. The chimney has been pained. Conditions & Threats: Very Good.
