C Listed - Local Significance STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE A larger elevated Edwardian house built in 1909. It is architecturally significant locally as a characteristic larger Edwardian style house, with a verandah valence frieze demonstrating some eclectic Islamic influence and as one of a group of 12 relatively intact and most varied in Aberdeen Street. It is significant historically as a representative embodiment of the way of life in Edwardian Newtown. Intactness: Good. The belverdere is now enclosed and the left front floor gable is an addition. The hish fence on a brick base is most appropriate. Conditions and Threats: Very Good. Traffic vibration and pollution.
