STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE

Rosnashane is regionally architecturally significant as one of a number of large brick Edwardian residences designed for prominent Geelong industrialists by the local architectural firm, Laird and Barlow later Laird and Buchan. It has local historical significance for its associations with Captain George Moore Strong, a wellknown local auctioneer and military man.
