Statement of Significance
The O'Halloran & Hare farmhouse site is of local significance for its associations with the early settlement of the Hazelwood area during the selection era in the late nineteenth century. It Illustrates how farms were developed and is of particular interest for the surviving domed wells which are rare examples within the study area.
