Statement of Significance

The RSL Memorial Obelisk, Northern Highway Tooborac, is aesthically, historically, socially and scientifically significant at a LOCAL level as a substantial WW1 and WW2 memorial funded by local subscription in memory of the men from the district who served, and the high number of men who lost their lives.
