Statement of Significance

The Beauview Estate is of local historical significance. The estate was the fourth subdivision by A.V. Jennings in Melbourne, comprising characteristic cul-de-sac planning and incorporating pre-existing elements such as the 19th century mansion Ravenswood. The shopping centre on Lower Heidelberg Road is substantially intact and is an integral part of the estate.
