Statement of Significance as recorded under the Queenscliff Heritage Study 2009 24 Baillieu Street is of historical and architectural significance to the Borough of Queenscliffe as a legible and well-preserved example of the simple single-fronted, transverse-gabled holiday house constructed at Point Lonsdale in the late nineteenth century. The house is also significant for its association with Rev H Halley, a prominent churchman of the district.
