Statement of Significance

Yellands Seasoning Kilns are of regional significance as relatively rare features of sawmill sites. If this was also the spot known as "Rules Farm", then it has added importance as a site associated with an early farming venture now reclaimed by the forest. (Supple 1991)

Further research would assist in understanding more fully the relative significance of the site.
