Statement of Significance

This old chock and log fence is in very good condition, and runs parallel to the Sunraysia

Highway for approximately 200 metres. It indicates the early settlement of land in the area for agricultural purposes. It is of importance for its potential to provide information that contributes to a greater understanding of the history of the settlement and establishment of the district, and has a strong presumption of archaeological research potential. Further historical research and archaeological investigation is recommended.

RECOMMENDED LEVEL OF SIGNIFICANCE: Conservation Desirable
