Statement of Significance
The Teddington Reservoirs, 501 Teddington Road, Stuart Mill were built to provide a water supply to St. Arnaud in 1898 and 1927 respectively. The reservoirs and surrounding area contain many artefacts which demonstrate key aspects of a domestic water supply system as well as retaining some original and unusual features. The Teddington Reservoirs, 501 Teddington Road, Stuart Mill are historically and scientifically significant at a LOCAL level. They are associated with the supply of domestic water to St. Arnaud from 1898 and demonstrates some original and unusual features including remnant steel coated wooden pipes. Overall, the Teddington Reservoirs, 501 Teddington Road, Stuart Mill are significant at a LOCAL level.
