Statement of Significance

These premises were erected c.185~ as warehouses. The 1857 Ratebook records them as being occupied by James Smith and Crouch and Trangmar. The two storey stone structure is simply composed and is typical of such premises dating from early times. The side elevation to the service yard is also significant.
