The Stawell Amalgamated Miners' Association Banner is a rare document of early miners organisations. The first banner was carried in the anniversary parade of 1873 and was replaced in 1874 by properly made and decorated banner. The present banner would appear to be a replica of the 1874 banner made in 1904 after the earlier banner became tattered and torn. It was restored in 1990 and is displayed in the Stawell Town Hall.
