Statement of Significance

The Post Office in Newall Street, Marnoo, is historically and architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. The recessive hipped roof form, shopfront parapet and roof form behind, projecting skillion verandah, galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding, narrow eaves, horizontal timber weatherboard wall cladding, timber framed double hung windows and the central doorway and shopfront window openings are those elements that contribute to the historical and architectural amenity of the area.
