Although relocated to the site in 1947 the house in Newall Street is architecturally significant at a CONTRIBUTORY level. These qualities include the steeply pitched hipped roof form, together with the elevated/broken back bullnosed verandah that projects towards the street frontage. Other intact or appropriate qualities include the single storey height, horizontal timber weatherboard wall cladding, galvanised corrugated iron roof cladding, narrow eaves, timber framed doorway, face brick chimney with soldier-coursed top, and the timber framed double hung windows.
