Statement of Significance

The house is one of the oldest in the immediate neighbourhood, preceding the growth of settlement on new sub-divisions in the 1920s. Notable for its dairy which operated during the 1930s-1940s, providing a useful facility for the expanding population of this relatively new housing area.
